Dadi Motiwalla
Owner & CEO
Dadi Motiwalla graduated from the Brooks Institute of Photographic Art and Science in Santa Barbara, California with a Bachelor of Professional Arts Degree in Photography with a major in Colour Technology and minors in Advertising Illustration and Industrial Photography.
Dadi formed mt2, in 1981, and pioneered the use of digital technology in 1983, making it the first computer graphic production facility in the Middle East for animation and high-end imaging and retouching.
His work has won for him several International Advertising Association awards in print and television, as well as The New York Film and Television Festival Award for animation in the automotive category for a TV commercial for Bridgestone Tyres.
Coupled with an unmatched track record and wealth of experience spanning 34 years in the Middle East, it is the seamless fusion of cutting edge digital and conventional technologies, All UNDER ONE ROOF, which enables mt2 to tailor custom solutions, fulfilling clients communication needs - transforming “Ideas into Imagery.’’
Dadi Motiwalla is also the managing director for Cato Brand Partners, an Australian Branding and Identity Management company that has been in business for 45 years and is counted among the world’s top five branding agencies. Cato Partners provides all facets of identity design worldwide and is involved with major projects conducted in over 100 countries. As Managing Director, Dadi has been solely responsible for all new Business Development in the GCC, Mena region, India and Pakistan. With his family residing in Dubai since1965, Dadi has developed an extensive client base, and regional marketing knowledge and experience. His extensive hands-on production knowledge in the graphics, photography, video and animation industry is an invaluable asset in all facets of project management and production, when working on a day to day basis with his clients.
